December 2024 Horoscopes for All Signs – Tales from the past
ARIES
Take a ‘No Regrets’ path to your future
Resist the push
Be a people mover – and be moved!
A new era has dawned, Aries. And you’re going to need a new plan or strategy to make the most of it. The start of December has you looking at what stands in the way of that with the new Moon in your 9th T-boning Saturn in your 12th. Solutions are to hand thanks to Jupiter. But do understand this involves rethinking and experimentation before moving ahead again. And also a splash of reboot daring. Which I’ll talk more about in a moment.
That’s due to the retrograde weather which for you is going to last well into the new year. Ruler Mars slams on the brakes on December 6. In your 5th house this touches on lovers, what you love, creative ventures, holidays and children. It can even in some cases see you switch from hot to not overnight. For this reason alone, do stay away from entering the cuffing season affray if you can.
Keep in mind that Mars retrograde in any part of your chart asks for a deep let-go, Aries. The more you try to push – the more you will be held back. Or the results simply won’t live up to your desires. This calls for trust in cosmic timing. And also – dare I say it? – trust in yourself. Mars only retrogrades approximately once every two years. It also invites you to explore the road not taken. It’s not often we get to turn back time in some form. But this is your opportunity to retrace those steps.
So, avoid roadblocks and frustrations simply by surrendering and slowing down. What’s meant for you has your name on it. And yes, looked at another way, this allows you to simply down-shift and enjoy the holiday spirit flowing your way as well.
That path re-opening or travel back to somewhere you have been in the past could appear at the very start of the month with the new Moon in your 9th. This could be a real or metaphorical journey. Across the 2nd – 4th, you go where you said you’d never go again. Or choose to roll the dice one more time. Your edgy willingness to take a chance thanks to Mercury’s trine to Chiron and second opposition to Jupiter, puts you in a position of daring. But you’ve weighed up the possibilities before striking! Think of this as the start of the kind of slow-burn boldness you’ll take during the Mars retrocycle.
And when it comes to that daring, the new Moon plus the 2nd and then 3rd line ups between Mercury and Jupiter (4th and 26th), and Mercury and Chiron (2nd and 30th), mean second and third chances are on offer for you. Don’t live in the age of regrets. That’s not what the Now Age of Aquarius is all about. These pro-active, glowing aspects nudge you to taking that chance. Or simply finding the limits of Yes, I CAN!!!
‘People mover’. Pluto now in Aquarius and your 11th is symbolic of power to the people. But what’s the first thing that came to mind when you read those two words? A transit system? A walkway? A catalyst for change? People move you into your future. Just as you and your ideas will shift others now. That’s both a two-way process and you and they aligned towards the same direction. But it needs YOU to be a self-starter to join in the process. So, you don’t wait for the invitations and reach outs. You spontaneously send them and join in.
Ideas reach fruition and can be sent out with the full Moon conjunct Jupiter in your 3rd (15th). News reaches you that marks a key stage in your progress or with a project or plan. With the next to follow. Again, this is linked to the overall people moving experience.
Your individuality and authenticity is what moves people. And also gravitates them towards you. If you have been your own authentic leader and acted with integrity during Pluto’s stay in your 10th, you should now be starting from a higher position on life’s ladder as the Sun slides into this house on Solstice Day (21st). And can look back in satisfaction on all you’ve achieved since 2008.
Need to reset that success story? If you have encountered set backs or find yourself still held back, bow your head, gracefully suck it up and then focus on what you can do for others, rather than what others can do for you. Look to this theme as we lead in to the holidays and your retro ruler opposes Ceres now in your 11th on the 20th. We also have a powerful Ceres/Pluto conjunction in your 11th (9th). Both planets represent the power to change. Ceres is the deal broker however. This could be the ultimate win/win for both parties.
The month ends with your 3rd and final angle of daring and alternative routes past regret. A path including the one not taken opens with the rare ‘Black’ new Moon in your 10th. Which occurs alongside Mercury’s final trine to Chiron. And Chiron heading direct. The thing about this is you are not pushing against the Mars retro energy. It’s a fiery impulsion along with an opening for you. It just seems like the new logical but somewhat daring step to divert onto what invites you to explore it. This is the real start of 2025 when intentions can be set, stuck to and a brazing, blazing trail taken. That’s not a detour, Aries. That’s no regrets destiny calling.
In a nutshell: Ruler Mars slams on the brakes in your sector of pleasure and romance. That doesn’t mean the year ends on a full stop however. There’s a big opportunity to live 2025 with no regrets over unexplored opportunities. Detour onto the path not taken.

TAURUS
The unexpected offers glittering alternatives
Embrace the seasonal spirit
Commit to your vision
December could serve surprises and delights at the start of the month. And if last month’s full Moon in your sign delivered the kind of surprise you didn’t expect – much less want, take it that what occurs around the 2nd may more than make up for this. Ruler Venus now in your 9th trines Uranus on this day. You’re embracing the party spirit from this point on. And also open and receptive to whatever (or who) comes your way.
What the previous months have shown you is that playing it safe really isn’t satisfying, Taurus. And that even if you do cling to the familiar, life has a habit of catching you unawares. So, you’re now in a space where you feel free to accept the challenge of the new and edgy. And dare to experiment! Change this up from the start of December with the transformational new Moon energy in your 8th (1st). More in your New Moon in Sagittarius Moonscope.
Letting go of hard-baked, set ideas sets in motion a whole set of new options for you this month. You embrace the different. And yes, that could literally include someone very different to the kind of person or even friendship, you’ve gravitated towards in the past. Also, releasing expectations means you also let go of disappointment as well. The cup is not half empty or half full. The cup is designed to be refilled. That’s the way you see it. And what delivers that fresh sense of happiness and satisfaction.
One of the best dates of the month comes on the 2nd when ruler Venus in your 9th trines Uranus in your sign. This is a day where you are filled with playful experimentation. A willingness to try or to take a chance. Who knew change could be so effortless and engaging? Or even what form it could take? Someone or something could appear that is literally an answer to a prayer or unspoken wish.
Big retrograde energy has seen you looking closely at finances. Gains may be slow but satisfying as they rest on your efforts. Do keep in mind what I said to you last month about getting your holiday shopping done before the Mercury retrograde hits if you can. If you have left it until now – at least wait until after December 15 and the full Moon in your 2nd. This also sees Mercury begin to move ahead again. But it does still have to clear retro-shade.
The other retro energy is Mars – in full reverse in your 4th from the 6th. Upsets or simply you on a very short fuse could sour the festive vibe if you are not careful. If there are family tensions, do plan accordingly, Taurus. You might want to limit the amount of time spent with relatives who are overly-demanding or trigger you. Do look at what’s really behind any frustration. Of feeling that others are intrusive. Yes, by all means protect your precious energy and space. Don’t be afraid to say no if someone becomes too demanding. But if you reach boiling point especially mid-month, look at what is really behind all of this. Chances are its not what is happening in the here and now. But has its roots elsewhere. With something that has been pressuring you for a while. Go directly to the source to defuse!
The 4th is highlighted for your social life as Venus aligns to Neptune. Its also a day to infuse those goals for the year ahead with spirited, inspirational energy. This is also a fabulous day to showcase your creative efforts as well as sliding into party mode. You’re embracing the holiday vibe from this point onwards.
Rewards for past efforts, your track record to date, and how you are ultimately valued and recognised will be Pluto in Aquarius and your 10th themes from this point onwards. Being boss of your path, understanding the power lies with you to own it or direct it where you need it to go, is the awareness Pluto offers. This also includes not staying with something that doesn’t hand you what you are seeking.
But first – refine that Mission Statement, Taurus! Yes, you need to know where you are going and what your want to attain or achieve. This doesn’t have to be in a paid career. It can be your personal ambitions. Corporations set mission statements. What they intend as entities to do or achieve. With Pluto in your 10th, you also need that clear declaration to the universe. This is me. These are my intentions. This is what I WILL do. Harness the power of your own certainty.
Take some time crafting this. And there’s no better time to do it than the two weeks leading up to the full Moon in your house of money and values (15th). Venus enters your 10th and meets Pluto on the 8th. Close behind is powerhouse Ceres which also meets Pluto the day after. The Venus/retro Mars opposition across your 10th/4th house axis should show you your standing. Not just with your own ambitions and the inroads you’ve made. But also how you are rewarded and seen by others.
Look to the full Moon which conjuncts Jupiter as to what is actually on offer. Whether this is purely personal or how others show you how you are valued by offering actual material benefits – that bonus or end of year raise or promotion for instance. Look at your Mission Statement. Or now craft it in the light of where you find yourself. During Mars’ backwards motion through you 4th/3rd houses you can lean in and either consolidate your progress. Or begin to move towards living that statement for real.
You will refuse to be confined or even defined by any shortfalls between what is on offer and what you are aiming for. Optimism makes a welcome reappearance with the Sun’s arrival in your 9th. You begin to plan for expansion. You meet the holidays with a reawakened feeling that you are n the brink of a big turnaround. And it isn’t wishful thinking either. As usual, your practical approach enables you to make the most of anything unexpected which may arise during the last week of December. There may be changes around plans or even a decision around a particular friendship or group on the 28th. This could in fact be a sign-off point where you decide something is no longer for you. But this won’t dampen your mood. In fact, you see it as letting go of what’s no longer aligned with your future journey.
The new ‘Black’ Moon in Capricorn and your 9th (30th), is the most powerful pivot point for fresh new beginnings that any of us have experienced since 2008. This is because it is the first new Moon to appear in Capricorn since Pluto exited. The term ‘Black’ Moon refers to the second of two new Moons in either the same sign during a solar cycle or else in two different signs but occurring in the same month.
For you, it’s all about the new which carries you forward on the wings of that mission statement. The emotions you feel are intense, adventurous, passionate and newly minted. Even if you cannot see it yet, you know with every atom in your being, that something new awaits you. A new love, a new avenue towards attaining those ambitions, a new subject to explore. And in some cases, a journey into new territory (this is your house of long distance travel). Brand new ideas swirl around you. As do ways of reaching where you want to go to. You are open, candid and also at your most responsive to change than you have ever been from this point onwards. Free yourself to fully engage in your mission. Which should now include a bigger love experience, bigger rewards and more satisfaction. Mission impossible? No such thing, Taurus.
In a nutshell: Time for a magical declaration of intent when it comes to what you intend to have, do or experience, Taurus. There’s a no limits vibe when it comes to where you want to go next. Above all, keep your focus on that guiding star. And don’t allow others lack of vision to keep you earthbound.

GEMINI
Reaffirm your love
Train your thoughts for manifestation
Cupid’s arrow aims in a new direction
The new Moon in your 7th (1st) opposes Jupiter in your sign. But ruler Mercury is retro in Sagittarius until the 15th. And then it has to clear post-shadow which won’t occur until the start of January. So, take it new beginnings in love and partnerships are delayed for now.
Also – if you have not embarked upon your holiday gift shopping, wait until after the 15th. Yes, this may be last minute. And Mercury is still shady. But it is direct and this should help you avoid making the wrong purchase. Or having to return it. Above all, do stick to your budget, Gemini.
Delays and disconnects, misunderstandings and miscommunications may persist for longer than usual. Even after Mercury regains forward motion. Mars is in Call me, maybe retrograde motion in your communications sector from the 6th. Yes, there may be radio silence as a result. Or even ghosting. But this can also lead you into impulse buying. And you taking an unfiltered approach to sharing what’s on your mind. Usually we associate your opposite sign of Sagittarius for their blunt, foot-in-mouth candidness. You may tell it as you see it, without regard for the other party’s point of view. Or thinking through what their reaction may be. Yes, it may be your truth. But take care in how you share it.
Ruler Mercury shunts forward in your partnership sector from the 15th. And this is the same day as a full Moon appears in your sign. Conjunct Jupiter. So, do take it that this will be an unmissable pivot point in a relationship. Or your relationship future. Or even for some with regards to home, lifestyle and living arrangements. Is this an arrow – or a compass pointing in a fresh direction? That highway to heaven for instance?
If you have been weighing up Go, Stay or Reconcile questions – this is when you will come to the right conclusion. Or to reaffirm your love. It’s a fabulous night for not just a moondance with your current boo but for an enlightening conversation which draws you closer. Because the Moon rules your money and Mercury also rules your home life and security, this Moon can also see you making decisions around where to be and your needs for the coming year. However – you know the rules, Gemini. Do wait until the start of 2025 to put your plans in motion.
Single as a Pringle? Hold the mingle until Mercury clears retro-shadyness at the start of the New Year. And even then take it slowly. Jupiter is your love planet and still backwards in your sign. Then Mars is retrograde in your 3rd from the 6th. This is a long, slow burn retro in your sector of communication, siblings and neighbours. It tells you that nothing should be agreed on or said in haste. And that the getting to know you stage needs to be time tested. Along with the facts. Yes, someone can be weaving a compelling story to draw you in – but it is the truth or just a story?
Your story, your project, plan, podcast, channel, website, studies, screenplay, manuscript or even just that paperwork, needs careful scrutiny. Once out there, you may not be able to take it back. However, when it comes to refinements, resubmissions and beta tests, you have three retro easing windows. These days can also mark times when what is stagnant or stalled, regains momentum again. But keep in mind this may be a brief surge of impulsion. Followed by another stop. At least right up until the 26th.
Mercury and Jupiter are in what is known as ‘mutual reception’. They are in each other’s ruling signs. So, when they line up and oppose each other, this is like a high speed internet connection or you by-passing a traffic jam and entering the fast lane. Your highway to heaven days are the 4th and 26th. The 4th is the second time Mercury and Jupiter have lined up. So, you can make progress with anything that started last month and has since slowed. And yes, considering this IS your yearly attraction and love peak – this includes that romance freeway, Gemini.
There’s also surprises, invitations and even enticing new connections to be made thanks to Mercury’s trines to Chiron in your social sector on the 2nd and 30th. You should be at your most open, curious and willing to experiment on these dates.
Pluto is now in your 9th of wide open potential, expansion and innovation. Do however pack those retro rules if travelling. I should not have to sell you in on those. Even on the dates I’ve given you above. They are not retro-proof. Rather retro diluting. Pluto is your planet of atomic habits, work and wellbeing. And in your 9th it will open up fresh horizons to explore.
Expect a total transformation of your world view either through travel, overseas connections or subjects you study. It will also show you that variety and movement is necessary for your overall health. And that lack of mental stimulation and new ideas has a detrimental effect on you. Commit to continued learning and growth and keep an open mind, and this will turn into one of the luckiest and expansive cycles of your life.
There’s a bridge which you can cross now between you and that big dream. Or even you and someone else. Venus meets Pluto on the 7th. Ceres enters the following day and adds its potent charm to link two opposites on the 9th. The way between where you are and where you want to get to. And also, if you and another haven’t been seeing eye to eye, you will find the way to bridge those differences. And come up with a solution that suits you both.
You cross from one place to another. And yes, as the famous Simon & Garfunkle song tells us: All your dreams are on their way. Which one is now being realised? Or has now come enticingly closer? A goal or desire may now be within reach. Bold choices abound with the full Moon conjunct Jupiter in your sign (15th). There’s nothing you’ll shy away from doing or attempting when it comes to that outcome you want now.
But you’re not flying by the seat of your pants or engaged in risky business. Saturn in the mix hands you a grounded and considered approach. So while you’re willing to emotionally stretch yourself you have a clear outcome in mind. And act with certainty and consideration. Don’t forget – the Moon is the ruler of your values. And this full Moon shines on something that’s worth a lot to you. Or makes the effort you put into it worthwhile.
One particular person may also be in focus. As full Moons reflect their light back into the house opposite. In this case, Sagittarius and your 7th. So that confident, emboldened choice could touch on a specific someone. But also keep in mind, this can also highlight where that bridge has been burned. And if so, it may well be because of a difference in your value system.
The 21st sees the Sun move into your 8th. Baby, it may be cold outside but inside it’s smokin’ hot. This is of course your house of raw, undiluted passion, your potent invincibility and scorching sexiness. This is the time of year when you reawaken your fierce. And whatever you focus on undergoes a powerful shift.
Pluto should have left you knowing this. And this is the first Pluto free solar cycle and new Moon (30th), you’ve experienced since 2008. New goals can be set in motion the day of the new ‘Black’ Moon. In fact, this is the best say to set your intentions for the coming year rather than January 1. Your commitment and intentions are unlikely to waver. Plus you’re wielding a strange and powerful magnetism on this day that sets in motion the delivery mechanism of the cosmos.
What you fix on, will in some way, shape or form, manifest. So, train those thoughts and focus them positively. The results may happen quicker than you imagined. Head start on 2025? You got it.
In a nutshell: Mercury heads direct mid-month while a full Moon in your sign directs your focus onto one particular partnership or love choice. You’re firing up the passion to bring in the changes ahead of the new year.

CANCER
If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you
You are stronger than you think
It’s your boldest new beginning yet!
Look closely at what you take on, Cancer. Watch for burn-out that snuffs out your usual festive glow. Above all, don’t be afraid to delegate or ask for help. Or to simply say no. Do allow others the opportunity to prove how capable they can be with the new Moon in your 6th. Yes, they may do things differently. But you need to look at the result and not the method.
Also understand no matter how connected you may be – nobody’s a mind reader. You can also come across as so capable others think you have it all under control. Even as you buckle under that crushing weight! Whatever you do, don’t continue to soldier on doing more than your fair share. And seething with hurt and resentment as you do. Yes, the fact something needs doing may be obvious to you. But not to the other party. Deliver the heads-up you need help before you blow up in other words!
You are adjusting to two big energy changes right now. One is long term – Pluto in your 8th. The other may be shorter, but its also impactful. And that’s Mars retrograde in your 2nd (from the 6th). And now heading back your way. But along with this comes the promise of the new. And December is the month when the universe opens a cosmic portal of potential for you. Handing you unprecedented manifestation potential. And the final release and closure of an old cycle. Yes, baby – it’s Black Moon month as well as your yearly partnership peak.
If it doesn’t challenge you – it won’t change you. You need to be willing to push those boundaries during this Mars retro/Pluto in your 8th combo. And not just around those challenges or issues that you’d normally try to avoid. But also around what you desire to improve, have or do in your life. And to know that manifesting those goals always goes hand in hand with change. So, see leaning in to challenging yourself as strength training for embracing your desires.
The truth around this reawakens this December. December’s two new Moons act like parenthesis around the month. The first appears in your 6th (1st). And the second in your 7th on the 30th. Mercury retro in your 6th has had you dealing with those pesky stuck tasks and that dull routine. As it heads forward from the 15th (the day of the full Moon in your 12th), this marks your point of release into powerful potentials.
Take care of anything that arises from the past with the first new moon. Any outstanding business or anything unfinished. Heed your intuition if it is directing your focus on to a specific area. Especially if this has been hanging around since October. Make a vow to yourself to no longer allow this continue if so.
The second week of the month hands you powerful solutions to fix any highlighted area – especially if this involves a deep issue or an intimate relationship. As the energy builds towards the full Moon on the 15th, you’ll feel the pressure to bring something to completion or out into the open. But don’t wait for that day to begin to tackle this. Venus enters your 8th on the 7th and meets Pluto the same day. Ceres follows and co-joins with Pluto on the 9th.
Keep in mind throughout this month and when looking to initiate changes (or stick for now as in some cases), Pluto rules love, attraction, fun and pleasure for you (who knew, right?!). While Mars rules all of the above – plus your career. So, use the Mars retro energy to redefine your path and reboot those personal and professional ambitions. And use the Venus/Pluto and Ceres/Pluto fusions to bring about changes which hand you joy, desire and pleasure. Remember, Ceres rules the art of the deal and is in your house of personal power. Be fearless and unafraid. Especially when it comes to crafting a solution which hands you what you want.
The full Moon (15th) is like an angel’s whisper. Or allows you to gain the insight that’s been missing for you to gain the answers or perspective you’ve needed. This is also the day Mercury heads direct once again. Mercury rules your 12th, where the full Moon takes place. So, take it those insights you receive are heaven-sent. Or anything that emerges from the past has a karmic date stamp on it.
Saturn tests your resolve. But also tells you that you have the strength to finish up something. Or take a stand over your needs. Embrace your spiritual strengths now. Yes, this may see you working on something buried deep in your inner subconscious. Or on the down-low, behind the scenes. But take it that you are about to emerge back into the light once the Sun arrives in your 7th (21st).
This brings you your yearly partnership peak. With a difference. And that is because this is the first time since 2008 it occurs free of Pluto’s influence. You also enter it with a fresh appreciation for those unions which have gone the distance with you during this cycle. And a new understanding of what you want when it comes to any kind of double act. It should be all dynamic and no more dilemma, Cancer.
A ‘Black’ Moon occurs when we have two new moons appearing either in a single solar cycle or within a given month. As new Moons are all about fresh starts and new beginnings, when this happens we have double the potential to renew our path. And draw new opportunities, solutions and love our way. Our goals and dreams get a double infusion of magic and intention.
Your third eye chakra is wide open on the day this appears (30th). You radiate clean, open and powerful intent when it comes to attraction and your future. If you want to boost the energy of this Moon – then do wear either black or indigo. You are at your most receptive to others. But also looking ahead to 2025. A year which will see Jupiter, planet of expansion and opportunity, land in your sign for the first time in 12 years. Decide what (or who), you want to draw to you. And also what direction you want a relationship to flow in.
New connections can be made in business in the upcoming month. And who you meet has its own sense of destiny and right timing. Your clarity is enhanced from this month onwards. And take it that at some point in the coming year – love will come home to roost.
In a nutshell: December brings the start of your yearly partnership peak. But this one offers up new beginnings like no other. At the same time, lean in to changes that need to be made in existing unions. To ensure you are getting those needs met, Cancer.

LEO
Get a new deal on You + Me
Slow down and simply glow
Second or third time is set to charm
Even as the new Moon strikes your fabulizing 5th (1st), you’ll feel the slowdown. This is about past love reclamation and revival, Leo. Or a complete and utter rethink on your part. That’s because days later Mars reverses in your sign (6th). Bringing you a retro revival season like no other.
Do whatever you do, hold off on the new. Whether this is a passion project which you pour your heart and creative soul into. Or seeking that love object this cuffing season. You now have Pluto in residence in your partnership zone. And this tells you that you not only wield love alchemy, but that your needs may be changing. And as Pluto is now set for an almost two decade stay in here, you also have time to explore and adjust.
The thing about the Mars retrograde especially if that you may change your mind during it. Someone may go from hot to then not when Mars heads direct again. Especially as it will oppose Pluto twice during its retro cycle. You also have a bit of a planetary pile up happening in your 7th this month. With Venus’s arrival and also Ceres in here. And with Mercury also retrograde in your 5th – right up until the 15th, and then in post-shadow until the start of January, there’s a new dynamic or deal yet to emerge when it comes to relationships. All this tells you – take your time.
The more you push against the slow-down – the more you will remain stalled. Mars retro in our sign is a tricky one. It can heat all the wrong things up. Like impatience and frustration for instance. And if we give in to that, we not only find ourselves back at the start – we can end up even further away from it than when we began.
Do you want more of the same? Or something different, Leo? With Pluto now in your 7th, that’s the question especially around love and relationships. Also what you love to do. This is an opportunity to begin again. On a fresh footing and with better results. But it calls on your to surrender rather than surge forward. Starting with that new Moon in your 5th at the top of the month. And rippling on down to the Venus/Pluto conjunction (7th). And then the Ceres/Pluto conjunction (9th).
Old loves get infused with a fresh perspective. Plus your intentions are set on an equal and fair exchange or flow between you. You will be open to finding that sweet spot where you and another can find your perfect solution or win/win. But without that feeling of sacrifice that goes with compromising more than you should. However, if anyone demands more than you should reasonably expect to give, Mars retro in the background will see you draw the line.
You’re in your yearly cycle of roaring magnificence and glowing like a festive lightshow right up until the 21st when the Sun moves into your 6th. You also have two key alignments between Mercury (retro in your 5th until the 15th), and Jupiter in your goals sector (the 4th and 26th). These dates could well see second and third time around chances appear. And if things are been a little slow due to the build-up of retro weather, these dates will see things pick up.
There’s something adventurous and optimistically brilliant about you on these dates. They could hold important interactions or deliver news you’ve been waiting on. Your wild side demands an outlet. And freedom to be yourself and experiment a little. Both these dates are ideal for parties, gatherings and get-togethers. You’ll also be actively on the hunt for the novel and intriguing. Be these new people or new ideas. Remember – luck is a process we activate via the people we encounter and our interactions. The more we interact and the more authentic we are when we engage, the more ‘luck’ seems to flow our way.
If you have been thinking of reinventing yourself – and some of you may undertake a re-brand during Mars’ retrograde, then you can beta test a new persona or style this month. Your best dates for image experimentation – IRL and virtually, are the day of the full Moon in your 11th (15th). The 12th (retro Mars opposition Venus) and the 20th (Mars opposition Ceres). You can try a new you on for size – and also get feedback not just from others – but from the cosmos. Remember – what we attract in is aligned to the energy we put out there. When we begin to radiate on a new vibe, it automatically follows we draw in the new.
Time to let go of a few die hard habits and replace them with fresh ones as the Sun leaves your 5th for your 6th. This is the first time since 2008 that the Sun has swept in here free of Pluto’s influence. And this is your house of duties and details. By now, you should really be feeling the slowdown caused by Mars. So, remember what I said about not pushing or rushing. Slow your pace and focus on your work, studies, what you do without even thinking each day, that routine for instance. Your self-care and work/life balance. The mind/body/spirit trinity. Your diet, exercise and your pets if you have them.
Those whose job it is to care for you – your fitness coach or yoga teacher, your doctor, dentist or complimentary health practitioner, your therapist or counsellor will feature. As could your boss, your co-workers, your employees if you are the boss, and the daily deliverables associated with these. Above all, this is about your duty of care to yourself. Prioritsing wellness. Making adjustments which result in feeling great.
Ahead of Mercury’s escape from post-shadow, you can begin to update that CV if part of your new regimen designed around you new view of you, includes a job change or returning to the workforce. Ahead of the start of 2025, the best day to set those intentions (a better word that resolution), has to be the new ‘Black’ Moon of the 30th.
A Black Moon occurs when there are two new moons in a solar cycle. Or else two new moons in a calendar month. This one is the second kind. It is the first new Moon to appear in this sector of your chart since Pluto exited. And is perfect for planting those future seeds. Not only that, in Capricorn and your 6th, you are likely to stick with what you set out to change or do. As Capricorn is the sign of consistent and long term efforts. This allows you to make the most of that Mars slow down. You’ve had a glittering month, Leo. Filled with sparkle and bold leaps into the new. Now, go for one step at a time. It’s a garden of opportunity you’re planting now. By spring – it’s in full bloom.
In a nutshell: Your yearly glow-up is further enhanced by Jupiter this month. But be patient when it comes to seeing those results, Leo. Mars retrograde in your sign slows everything down. But what you can expect is a new deal on love.

VIRGO
Own your emotional truth
Be ready for a brilliant new beginning
Create meaning
You’ll be determined to clear the decks as well as deck the halls this holiday season. Retro weather this month sees you bring your signature Virgo focus with the sole intention to get things done. That outstanding issue or unfinished business. What narks you or is causing frustration. You may even decide that you are going to be spending this holidays in a different way or different place. Especially if you feel you have outgrown your family ‘traditions’ or they just cause too much tension.
Above all, be honest if this is the case. And don’t allow things to drag on for fear of upsetting the mulled wine. Maybe it’s time to tactfully own that the annual turkey curry buffet is a minefield rather than festive fun. Be kind. But also – be kind to yourself.
Mars retrograde in your 12th can expose what’s hot. And what’s not. Plus you have ruler Mercury also retrograde in your 4th of family, home, roots and traditions. Yes, Mercury moves ahead again on the 15th. But remains in retro-shade until the start of January. Any long-standing icks and irks can reach boiling point. And what’s more, you’re seen as the Grinch in all of this. That’s why it’s better to get ahead of it if you’re filled with festive dread rather than good cheer. And make that alternative arrangement. This may not involve leaving extended family out of the loop. If slaving in the kitchen sees you short on goodwill towards all, consider simply booking dinner at a hotel instead. It’s all about finding the ho-ho-ho for everyone. Including you. And the days to create something that works for all are the 7th – 9th when Venus and then Ceres meet Pluto in your 6th.
Pay attention to signs and portents, burning hot synchronicities and also what returns under the Mars retrograde. Know that what has your name on it won’t get lost in the universal delivery system. Be ready to realign your goals by the time Mars reaches your 11th. But for now, pay attention to your gut and above all, that ick if there is one.
Being a Retro Boss you know all about what not to do or commit to under any kind of retrograde. Keep in mind that Mars rules your money, assets, shared resources and your sex life. This is because Mars is the ruler of Aries and your 8th house where all the above resides. So, try to avoid major decisions which touch on these areas if you can. Or if they cannot be helped, then do take your time over them. A red letter day to tackle anything comes on the 13th when Mars opposes Venus. Try to sit with it until then.
Whatever needs to be done or announced, pick the 1st to get it out of the way at the top of the month. The new Moon in your 4th opposes Jupiter in your 10th. But also squares Saturn in your 7th. Despite what most people think, Saturn is your planet of pleasure. Why? Because it rules Capricorn and your 5th house. Yes, from the 21st, you will hit your annual pleasure peak. But the very start of December asks you whether you are taking our need for this as seriously as you take everything else?
Mercury retro allows you redesign things on the home front. And yes, even re-priortise your time and energy. Or allow others the opportunity to step up by delegating what needs to be done. Do let go of needing to have things done your way, however. What matters is the result – not how you attain it.
By the time ruler Mercury heads direct on the 15th, you need to be looking at a clean slate. Especially when it comes to your decisions. You should also have your plans in place for what you want to attain or where you want to get to in ‘25 at this point. As the full Moon in your 10th sets the stage for progress and getting serious about what you want. It also reminds you of what you said you were going to do – but then didn’t. Take it you have more than enough time to go back and retake the road to opportunity in the new year. But you know the drill, Virgo. No real moves until Mercury has cleared retroshadow at the start of January.
For now, clear the decks and deck the halls. One of your best days for enjoyment, indulgence and being in that Love, Actually state of mind comes on the 4th with Venus in your 5th angling to Neptune in your 7th. Plus you’ll enjoy a feeling of renewed closeness or clarity with partners that feels like fresh snowfall from the 7th when Neptune heads direct again.
Although things have slowed during the Mercury retrograde, if you look back to October you should be seeing constant and significant progress – even if it’s been in tiny steps. With the two Mercury/Jupiter oppositions (4th and 26th), this month plus the full Moon conjunct Jupiter (15th), you should be at the very least ending the year with a sense of satisfaction. Having made inroads or simply crushed something you set out to do. And keep in mind that Jupiter stays with you in your success sector right up until June next year. After which it goes into major wish fulfilment mode when it enters Cancer and your 11th.
By the time the Sun lands in your 5th (21st), you should have created a brilliant and workable plan for the holidays which has seen you off-load those pesky To Do’s. And given you the support you need to get the rest done while giving you time to enjoy yourself. The Sun is now completely free of Pluto’s influence in this house in your chart. And the new ‘Black’ Moon of the 30th, is the first new Moon you have experienced without Pluto’s presence since 2008. This reconnects you back to your childlike source of wonder and creativity. Where you can relight the flame that fires up your passion for what you love – and who.
Joy is what this new Moon unwraps for you. Not just the seasonal kind, but the kind that you can take forward with you into the new year. It can reignite the warmth between you and someone you love. Or show you an effortless path towards pleasure, indulgence and hedonism. In fact, you’ll come to understand how the pursuit of happiness is not only an important part of your upcoming game plan for the new year – but totally necessary.
In a nutshell: The season of wonder lights up your passion and pleasure sector in your chart. After the 15th, new beginnings appear ahead of the new year. You return to your source. Something shows you it was well worth the wait.

LIBRA
Don’t pursue, let what you want find you
Cement your path ahead
You ARE enough
Jingle bells! You’re certainly in the holiday mood once Venus lands in your 5th (7th). It joins Pluto and Ceres in here. There’s a new deal on love, pleasure, passions, pastimes and hobbies ahead of you. Creativity and children. Or those younger than you. Part of igniting the festive spirit includes putting you back in touch with your playful, childlike side. Let go of cynicism. Yes, this may have been brought about by the over-commercialisation of this time of year. But opt instead to see magic, wonder and joy.
However, continue to steer clear of actively seeking romance. And use caution if that former flame drops into your DM’s. In other words, don’t get caught up in seasonal sentimentality (yours or theirs). Especially as Mars retrograde in your 11th could bring about reach outs and reruns. Especially around mid-month when ruler Venus opposes Mars from your 5th. And again around the 20th when Mars opposes Ceres. I am not saying a new deal cannot be negotiated. Just that this Mars retro is a long one. And minds and hearts can change again at the end of it. Take your time. Mars is the ruler of Aries and your 7th house. Hence the need to slow down with any relationship decision. Including seeing where new ones can take you.
Simply be enough now no matter your relationship status. And find the delight and joy you used to experience when you were young instead. Maybe this means gifting yourself that Lego set rather than making the excuse it’s for that young person. And giving yourself permission to do whatever turns on your heart-light. And not caring if anyone thinks you childish.
Old ideas or projects get re-infused with a new outlook starting from the new Moon in your 3rd (1st). It opposes Jupiter in your sign of travel (remember, Mercury is retro!) the media and learning, and squares Saturn in your 6th. Reworking or revising something could give you a spectacular reboot. Especially across the opportunity creating portals formed by Mercury and Jupiter. The first was last month. December hands us the second (4th) and the third on the 26th.
Mercury will also trine Chiron in your 7th twice this December. On the 2nd and again on the 30th – the day Chiron heads direct. Mercury itself is direct from the 15th but keep in mind that it will not clear its retroshadow until the start of the New Year. So, the retro rules should stay in place until then. But this can bring about the return of something or someone you never imagined would reappear. Or see you taking that step you never imagined you would. Spinning stars of radically different outcomes that you have set in motion amp up that holiday glow.
If you want to reattempt or try again, then look to the period between the 8th – 15th. This is when you will become a powerhouse of reignited potential! Ceres enters your 5th on the 8th. Co-joining with Pluto the following day. In mythology, Ceres was Pluto’s ma-in-law. Both are dwarf planets. And represent power in their own way. In fact, ask anyone who has experienced Pluto transitting their sign or a personal planet in their chart and they will tell you there is nothing small about the Pluto effect. Similarly with Ceres. To return to mythology, when Pluto abducted Ceres daughter Proserpina, Ceres laid waste to the world and stopped the crops from growing until she was returned to her. For six months of the year. This tells you that you don’t mess with this kind of feminine power.
So, expect in a shift in the balance of power and your ability to manifest your desires in the areas of lovers, romance, babies, children and conception. This also includes creative concepts, what you love to do, who and what you attract. Luck and how you stand out and shine your brightest. You are at your most potent creativity. And powerfully playful at the same time. This marks a point of effortless and transformative brilliance for you. Don’t be afraid to suggest that daring alternative now. It could just break you free and even hand you and someone else that win/win.
Lean into that glowing pathway with the full Moon in your all-expansive 9th (15th). This is the day when the ruler of your 9th – Gemini, shifts to forward motion. The Moon conjuncts Jupiter and squares Saturn in your 6th. This creates a mutable T-square. The Moon is your career planet while Saturn rules your sector of home and family. What are those ideas you can initiate to give you more satisfaction or create that better work/life balance? Mercury throws into the mix glad tiding or simply that feeling of emotional progression. News that you’ve been waiting on sees a wonderful sign-off ahead of the holidays. More in your Full Moon in Gemini Moonscope.
There’s a space waiting for you to fill it with a totally heart-centered choice that has opened up since Pluto exited your 4th. Home, family, roots, place, traditions, locality, moving, emigrating, property, buying, selling, renting, lettting, Airbnb-ing – all come under this house. Along with the path you take in life. The Sun’s arrival in here (21st) will highlight what’s left. Something that needs filling for you. Or a change or move ahead of you.
This will be the final ‘settling’ of whatever changes Pluto’s transit brought about. Think back to 2008. Did you move or relocate? Perhaps even more than one. Extend your home or redecorate? Buy or sell? Rent or get a roomie? Or a series of them if you have been Airbnbing. How has your living situation transformed during this time? This is the final renovation you make to this grand design.
The new ‘Black’ Moon in your 4th (30th), chimes with Mercury’s third trine to Chiron and Chiron heading direct in your 7th. Some of you may make a joint property decision with a partner. Others may be looking at a move of career for the year ahead. This is the most powerful new Moon in this house you’ve experienced since 2008. As it is the first one to appear in here since Pluto quit.
This is something you can build on. Or move into. You can construct a lasting emotional foundation. Look to how you can create this heading forward. And while this can be four walls what sustains and shelters you can just as easily be a person or people, a job or career which sustains you, a love of something permanent from a relationship to a country. Where, what or who do you want to be able to call home in 2025? Pluto has shown you the power of moving experiences. And also who you can lean on when you need to. This new Moon attunes you to your emotional needs and also triggers the desire to create a haven for yourself. Feathering your nest can include buying vintage or antiques with this new Moon. But take it whatever you’ve now outgrown, will be replaced with a move into something bigger. And lasting.
In a nutshell: Who, what, where you love – there’s a new deal available now for you. Around your passions or what allows you to effortlessly glow like holiday lights. Be ready for a top of the tree moment. It will last long after its been taken down.

SCORPIO
Find the missing element
Define those desires
Get talking
Money and self-worth matters kick start December for you. We have a new Moon in your 2nd (1st). Plus two key oppositions between Mercury and Jupiter in your 8th (4th and 26th). Pointing to a complete financial re-set, Scorpio. Time to cash-in. Your take-out is a big and rich feeling that transcends what’s in your bank account. But does in fact set your stock value to gain more. Check your New Moon in Sagittarius Moonscope on how to reinvest in you.
The most influential transit of this month is your secondary ruler Mars retrograde in your 10th (from the 6th). This is a long, slow burn which is going to last all the way into 2025. It is asking you to halt and think about your long term path and direction. Yes, this is also linked to assets and self-worth. What you feel you have earned or deserve. Rewards and recognition. And the power of your potential.
While the energy may mean you are in a holding pattern when it comes to moving on up until March, this does give you an opportunity to look at what you really want. And all the implications of your long term choices and decisions. If something isn’t working for you, you can reassess and redress it. If this involves your actual job or position right now, do keep in mind that Mercury is in retrograde at the start of the month. It will shift forward on the 15th. But then take until January 1 to clear post-shadow. So, you may want to hold off any actual moves or applications until then.
The same goes for major relationship makes or even breaks. Big decisions like move in, be exclusive or head to splitsville. Especially if this is decided in the heat of the moment. Changes or heart and mind can and will occur (yours or the other party’s!). In fact, should someone tell you it’s over under the Mars retrograde, you might want to adopt a ‘wait and see’ between now and April.
The other aspect of this Mars retro is that someone from your past can come back in again. That doesn’t mean you have to, however. Old astro rules tell us that if this happens under a Mars retro this is likely to end up being a Hi and Goodbye. In other words, they come in to then exit again. This time for good. It doesn’t always happen but keep this in mind as a strong possibility. Yet another reason for not going all in with that heart until at the very earliest, February. And you need to use caution right up until April.
What’s working for you is not only your main ruler Pluto now in your 4th, but the arrival of your love planet Venus in here on the 7th. These two entangle the same day. What are you still searching for, Scorpio? That missing element in a current union? Or the kind of love you’ve always been searching for, but never found? You’ll be able to negotiate or adjust your settings to bring this about. Or else understand where this can be found thanks to this and the arrival of Ceres (8th).
Like ruler Pluto, Ceres symbolises power. It also has links to Taurus and your partnership sector. As well as your money. So take it there’s a new and better deal on offer in both love or money for you. One where you don’t have to give up pieces of your soul to get what you need. And also one that two people can gain from. Yes, this may mean giving something up. But most likely it’s simply an old attitude. And that costs you nothing.
Saving vs. splurging will continue to be your main theme right up until the start of 2025. Hopefully you took my advice last month and got your present shopping out of the way before the Mercury retrograde in your money zone. If you still haven’t done yours, please do wait now until after the 15th which sees Mercury move ahead again. And a full Moon in your ‘other’ money house. Conjunct Jupiter in here. This can bring in money owed or even for some, a nice little holiday bonus. Don’t buy things on this day itself. Wait a couple of days. Although Mercury is still in post-shadow, it is at least heading forward by then. And you will be less likely to indulge in emotional purchases or buy the wrong thing!
What you have learned from your relationship to money, abundance and the key to all of this – self-worth and acceptance can now be put to good use. With Pluto now in your 4th – you should be investing in anything that enhances your long term security. Or which allows you to feel that all important sense of home and safety. Moves may lie ahead for you. Even big relocations for some of you in the coming year. So, make a plan ahead of this. And if you are looking at gains, put them aside for this.
If you have been waiting on news, an answer or even a bonus or pay rise, it can appear right before the turn of the year. There’s something last minute and surprising occurring for you after the 21st when the Sun enters Capricorn and your 3rd. Just when you had resigned yourself to a stalemate or a situation being stuck, it miraculously un-sticks. Or you receive a better outcome than you originally envisaged. Look to the 20th for signs of progress just prior to the Sun changing signs.
But you could be ending the old year with news of an upcoming improvement or something springs to life again thanks to the new ‘Black’ moon in your 3rd. This is the first new Moon to appear in here since 2008 that’s free of Pluto reshaping your ideas. Has something stood the test of time? It may have gone through a few incarnations. But remains relevant and ready for its rebirth. Keep in mind that from mid-2025, Jupiter will enter your 9th bigging up those dreams and visions, opening doors to travel, learning and opportunity in a way you’ve not experienced in 12 years. This also triggers your need to be more open with those around you. You’ll discuss your hopes, your dreams and yes, even air those vulnerabilities in a way you may not have been able to do earlier.
Love? It’s the conversation and the mental turn-out that attracts you now. And if you’re working with that Mars retro energy correctly, you’re in no great hurry to move things past the getting to know you stage too quickly. You’ll enjoy the flirtation, the anticipation and also, the chase. For others, your online presence, writing, speaking, sharing, design, photography, that podcast or feed, that topic you care about, that business plan or side hustle, gathers momentum and propels you forward. Set your direction.
In a nutshell: Old ruler Mars retrogrades in your house of success and status. Rewards may take longer than usual to appear. But Pluto has a new set of rules for you when it comes to living authentically.

SAGITTARIUS
Retrace your steps for a wonderful rediscovery
Explore the bond
Renegotiate your love terms
Go the distance this birthday cycle, Sag. It may seem you are off to a slow start. But rush and you’ll miss all the scenery between where you are and where you want to get to. Or simply have to go back to the beginning and plan a fresh route.
There are three reasons for this. The first is that the new Moon in your sign (1st), appears under a Mercury retrograde (also in your sign). The second is that ruler Jupiter is also retrograde in your 7th. The third – Mars begins its own long drawn out retrograde in your 9th of travel and all-things Sag-related from the 6th. This will last until the New Year. All these elements combine to may this a slow journey. But see the journey as a goal or experience in itself. And watch how you discover magic you might have missed along the way if you had hurried.
Sometimes a little back-tracking leads to wonderful re-discoveries. When we begin a birthday cycle under major retrograde weather, this can be a metaphor for the upcoming year for us. We go back to move forward again. Do keep this in mind in 2025. Look back to old loves (possibly what or where as opposed to who). Aspects of your past or past elements that still hold joy and meaning for you. Travelling back to places you have visited in the past may feature. And if so, you’ll see them with fresh eyes. Retaking that path not taken in terms of a goal. Reviving an old project or dream.
The past can also come looking for you. Even if you’re not seeking it out. Anyone from friends to old bosses or co-workers. Yes, that that ex falls under this. And with Jupiter in your 7th right up until mid-year, partnership matters and lasting, long term love offer your main areas of exploration and satisfaction. Use the new Moon in particular to re-imagine what love now needs to look like for you. Whether you are single or settled. Be honest with yourself. Remember – this is YOUR grand design if you are single. Or an opportunity to dream anew with your significant other if settled. It simply has to work for you – and them. It doesn’t have to conform to what society tells you the ‘perfect’ relationship should look like. That’s the key to getting the love you need, Sag.
Love right now – please keep that on hold. Why? Really simple Astro 101: Mercury is your love planet. But doesn’t Venus rule love? Yes, it does. And enters your 3rd where it strikes up an conversation with Pluto on the 7th. Same day as the Sun in your sign opposes Jupiter in your 7th. But don’t rush especially if that deal on the table is around any kind of partnership, Sag. You always need one eye on Mercury due to the fact Mercury rules Gemini and your 7th. So, this is why when Mercury is retrograde, especially in either your own sign or opposite number Gemini, we tell you not to throw your heart along with your hat into the relationship ring.
Don’t worry if you defer for now. Ahead of you – plans will come to fruition in 2025. Partners and collaborators will feature. And if you are seeking them or even that romantic connection, take it that pursuing a plan, project or idea will see you cross paths at some point. No other action required other than you taking whatever steps you can to go directly to your dream. No matter the distance.
The 15th could highlight one particular connection which craves your attention. This brings a full Moon in your 7th. And also marks the day Mercury moves ahead again. But keep in mind that it will not clear post-shadow until Jan 1. Again, this is about a past or present connection. Leave the new for now, Sag. But you CAN and should gather up all your double act and dynamic duo lessons to date, and use them to either craft a solution or new deal with someone going ahead – or to envision what real togetherness look like for your future.
Don’t simply focus on romantic unions or your spouse. With Jupiter in your 7th, there’s so many other different forms that dance partner can take. That activity buddy, trainer, coach, mentor, agent, employer or collaborator. They can have two legs or four. Think Tsaheylu in Avatar. It’s about the connection and where this takes you. But do continue to keep in mind, the energy which surrounds you is slow paced. No instant gratification action, Sag. Not if long haul loving or results are your goal.
Slow burn discoveries and explorations will last until April. December hands you three days when you can escape the retroactive influences however. Redeliveries, second chances and on the 26th even a ‘Three times the charm’ moment. The 4th sees Mercury oppose Jupiter for the second time. This can see something move ahead. But it will stop again. The 6th – 8th offer more impulsion. And a deal could begin to crystallise or something takes form thanks to the Sun and Mercury conjunct in your sign. And first Venus and then Ceres conjunct Pluto in your 3rd. But take it a door to progress opens. And then closes again. Just be content to cruise on into the holidays if so. There’s nothing you can do to push things. And again, if you do, you’ll miss what’s right in front of you.
The 21st brings the equinox as the Sun exits your sign for Capricorn and your 2nd. The energy shifts from you, to earning and gaining what meets those needs. And finances your yearning for new experiences. Again, watch for something that completes around the 26th. Or a clear way ahead to be shown to you just prior to the rare ‘Black’ new Moon in Capricorn on the 30th.
December has handed us not one, but two new Moons. The second new Moon in a given month/sign is always known as a ‘Black’ Moon. It is also the first new Moon to appear in here since Pluto departed for good last month. And it offers the biggest financial reboot or ability to build on that worth that you’ve experienced since 2008. Next year Saturn, ruler of Capricorn and your financial planet, will move on into Aries and your 5th house. This new Moon is a real money maker. But asks you take a focussed and structured approach to earning it. And saving it. The future promise is that if you set this up now – you’ll get to have more fun in how you make it – and potentially how you spend it in 2025. Bank on it, Sag.
In a nutshell: The full Moon in Gemini highlights a past, present or potential partnership. You and your opposite number agree on what’s most important to you both. Something you’ve been waiting on since October, adds to your holiday mood.

CAPRICORN
No more hiding the real you
Upgrade your self-belief
Happy birthday, Capricorn!
You’re back in black, baby! You’re now in a brand new cycle where upgrades in all areas are possible. It’s time to ditch any remaining negativity. And to move from completion of one epoch and into another of gains and abundance. First, do look closely at where they may just be some residue from Pluto to be cleared away. Especially when it comes to old beliefs around what you can and can’t have or do. And get this done before the Sun lands in your sign (21st). And a new ‘Black’ Moon on the 30th heralds one of the most powerful kick-starts you’ve experienced in many years.
Magical surprises feature the first week of the month when dreams from your past can coalesce and become real. You become the cosmic mixologist across the 1st – 2nd. Blending dreams with reality and ideas on how to make them happen. You excavate your past for what’s still relevant and meaningful. While ruler Saturn’s angle to the new Moon in your 12th allows you to cut away and release what holds you back. Or simply isn’t a realistic option any longer.
This frees you to manifest or gain something better. And without time wasting. The glorious trine between Venus in your sign and Uranus in your 5th beams in surprises, unlooked for opportunities, a dash of romance and a sprinkle of wish-fulfilment. Above all, be open minded. Often when we ask the universe for something, it substitutes this for something better. It may not look exactly like what we ordered however. The trick is to know this – and accept it with open-hearted trust.
The theme that’s happening in the lead up to your new cycle is Free to be Me. And as the song tells us: I make no apologies, this is me. This should have been Pluto’s lasting gift and blessing. No more hiding yourself (or parts of yourself), in the dark. Bending yourself out of shape to fit in. Or people pleasing. You should have ditched labelling yourself. Or allowing others to assign them. Love yourself with a burst of fresh radiance and serve the real you once the Sun hits your sign (21st). And the new ‘Black’ Moon kick starts that fresh cycle (30th).
In between, Venus and Ceres leave Capricorn (7th and 8th). And across the 7th – 9th, both encounter Pluto in your 2nd. Your self-worth is linked to how you see yourself and how others see and value you. And this again all points to a reset on your values. Along with a positive change around your money, income, assets, possessions and resources. A better deal can be crafted or be on the table. Does it match how you see yourself? That’s your point of negotiation if anything needs to be upgraded. With Neptune now direct once again in your 3rd (7th), you can get your point across. Especially as on this day, retro Mercury is in major revision mode as it squares ruler Saturn also in your 3rd.
If anything is left with the details still to be ironed out, the 15th allows you to focus on these thanks to the full Moon in your 6th. Also look to how you delegate and what you take on for the upcoming festivities at this point. Ensure that this is not more than your fair share. With Mars now retrograde in your 8th (from the 6th), don’t allow inequalities or issues to turn into full blown resentments.
Because Mars is backwards and you have this powerful full Moon in your house of work and wellbeing squaring your ruler, you may not be able to access your usual va-va-voom energy levels. Or if you have been taking them for granted for a while and not refuelling, you suddenly find yourself depleted and grinding to a shuddering halt.
If this happens alongside not feeling you have the support you need, this can result in well – tears, tiredness and frustration. The great thing about astrology is that it’s just like a weather report! Knowing ahead of time what it’s going to be like ensures you plan. So, time to down-sift in some areas. Or ask for help. Simply so that you have the reserves you need for those areas of life which are set to sparkle!
So, do take time out to recharge or even review what you need – with the 20th and Mars’ opposition to Ceres being the best day for reaching agreements as to who does what.
Solstice Day and your new cycle is underway. Pluto free and the point where you can realise and release into a complete and authentic rebirth. Raw, miraculous, unapologetic and unfiltered. Ahead of you incredible discoveries around just what the new you can attract, attain and achieve. Especially around your online life, technology and the means you choose to serve up you.
Partnerships are about to feature in a big way in ‘25. You are now open to a love which reflects all the changes of the past years. Being aware of who you are hands you an enhanced ability to know the kind of union that works. And also you’ve a better understanding of how you can meet your partner’s needs. Jupiter will enter Cancer and your 7th in June for the first time in 12 years. Expect a wonderful and expansive new stage in your union if you are settled. Or at least one serious contender who reflects your heart’s truth for seekers.
The new ‘Black’ Moon in your sign opens a new doorway to yet-to-be-lived potential (30th). For you, the new year begins early as this is your real starting point. What you begin under this new Moon will hand you nothing less than a modern day miraculous result in the coming year. All you need do is to make sure it is true to the real you, Capricorn.
In a nutshell: Your new cycle and December’s ‘Black’ moon in your sign, is a clean slate when it comes to new beginnings. Serve unapologetic and unfiltered now, Capricorn. This is your point of rebirth.

AQUARIUS
Escape old pain
Thrive, don’t survive
Wait for the big reveal!
The future is now in motion but when it comes to your love future – take it slow, Aquarius. The reason for that is Mars retrograde in your partnership zone from the 6th. If there’s a burning question about the future of a relationship, this combined with Pluto now permanently in your sign, will see it answered between now and April.
Keep your focus on the love of friends this festive season. Goals also get reinjected with extra inventiveness as the new Moon in your 11th (1st), marks the official start of your annual party season. Yes, for some, an enchanted meeting may take place. This is all thanks to the new Moon opposition Jupiter. Plus a full Moon in your 5th conjunct Jupiter (15th). And also two key oppositions between Mercury and Jupiter which occur this month (4th and 26th). But Mercury is retrograde in your 11th. It moves ahead the same day as the full Moon. But needs until the very start of January to clear retro-shade. So, the outcome of something new could be wrapped in mystery. No peeking, Aquarius. Wait for the reveal.
You are at the very start of your Now Age of Aquarius cycle. And this coincides with not only that Mars retro in Leo, but the arrival of Venus (7th) and Ceres (8th) in your sign. You may be impatient for change. Determined to bring about a new beginning. But fresh starts like answers, may take a while to crystallise. You can’t hurry love or any outcome now. Both planets will encounter newly arrived Pluto when they enter. Venus on the same day it arrives. And Ceres the day after.
Let’s talk astro hacks for your Now Age. Venus rules your home and family life. As well as love and money. The Sun rules your long term partnerships. There is a bit of a debate happening out there amongst astrologers now Ceres has been elevated to dwarf planet status alongside Pluto. Now way back in the 19th century when astronomers first discovered Ceres, they thought it should be assigned to Virgo. There are clear links between Ceres and its mythological associations and the sign of Virgo.
More recently, some astrologers believe Ceres should rule Taurus. This one is a little more tenuous. Both Taurus and Virgo share their rulers with other signs. Taurus shares ruler Venus with Libra. And Virgo Mercury with Gemini. So, many believe these signs should have a ruler all to themselves. Just as your ancient ruler used to be Saturn, but now you have Uranus. However, if Ceres is going to be given rulership of either sign, this probably won’t happen for some time. What we can say for sure about Ceres is, it is as powerful as Pluto. And it often brings in a new deal or a win/win. It is also linked to feeling loved, cared for, protected and nurtured while being given the confidence and freedom to make your own choices. And potentially mistakes you learn from.
Negative Ceres could manifest as helicopter parenting. Or the parent who reserves their love for the child they see as most like themselves. This can be a sensitive time of year for those who feel a parent’s love isn’t unconditional. Or that their sibling is the ‘favoured’ child. If these are themes that you have had to deal with in your family, you might want to look at where Ceres is in your chart. Especially if it sits close to Chiron.
So, one outcome of this Venus/Ceres/Pluto pile-up could be your new deal on the holidays. Where you opt for something that hands you that special feeling of being surrounded by who or what nurtures you the most. In some way, you decide to show yourself self-love. By opting out or yes, in some instances, opting in. But it works for you – and is your authentic reflection of what the season means for you. Just take it that ‘authenticity’ is your mantra for living from now – all the way until 2043!
The Ceres/Pluto meeting can also bring about new awareness and a powerful healing when it comes to childhood wounds. Especially combined with the Mercury/Jupiter alignments across your 11th/5th houses. Your 5th is not just your house of romance, pleasure, luck and how you effortlessly shine. It is also your house of your inner child. Look to the 4th and 26th when Mercury and Jupiter oppose to clear away remaining barriers to expressing the jewel you were when younger. This will also allow manifestation magic to flow free, flooding your life with ways towards your desires.
The full Moon in your 5th (15th), occurs the day Mercury moves ahead. It also passes over Jupiter and squares Saturn in your 2nd. Allowing you to have a powerful self-parenting moment. You will no longer give in to pressure to go along with anything that doesn’t seem right. And although Mars retro in your 7th is about slow burn love, this is a fabulous, lush and indulgent night to share your feelings with someone. Your other dates are the 2nd (Venus trine ruler Uranus) and the 12th (Venus opposition Mars). Whether its expressing yourself, meeting friends or honouring your own needs with or without a partner, you’ll feel free to be authentically you.
The Sun’s crossing into your 12th highlights a clear path of reflection (21st). This transit occurs free of the influence of Pluto. And the new ‘Black’ Moon (30th) in here, is the first to appear since Pluto left. Are you still seeking answers? This tells you they can be found within you.
In the next four weeks you are going to feel any protective armour you have had to place around your heart in order to survive, dissolve. You will reclaim your spontaneity and your trust in the process of life itself. This occurs ahead of a big rebirth moment next month. Allow yourself to feel any emotional discomfort – but do heed it if it is telling you not to go ahead with something. By feeling it and passing through it with your self-integrity intact, you’ll meet who you were always destined to be. Authentic and whole to live the Now Age.
In a nutshell: Mars retrograde in your 7th may slow down love. And there’s no need to rush into anything with Pluto’s transit in your sign only just beginning. If it’s love or enhancing your present one is what you want most this holidays, focus on self-love first.

Get your cosmic sorting system in order!
Wait for your answers
Your insight is the ultimate resource
It’s not just the big picture that asks for your focus this December. But the small stuff too. You can answer: It’s all small stuff. And yes, it is. When you bring your focus to bear and chunk it down. A practical, step-by-step approach turns into a winning strategy for you. And also the philosophy of changing what you can. And no longer worrying about what you can’t. Or at least don’t quite know how. Take it anything left unanswered will be by the new year.
Just imagine for one moment that you are seated at your desk. Your job is CEO of You.Inc. In front of you are three trays. They are labelled In, Out and Time. The latter one being ruled by Saturn, which will begin to move out of your sign next year. This is your cosmic organising system. Now, visualise yourself going through your cosmic In box. In it are all the tasks and goals you have. Read through them. Which ones can you solve or do something about right now? You can either make an actual list or simply allow your higher self to provide the answers. Now, you can move these to your Out tray. Ruler Neptune direct from the 7th aids you with what to prioritise.
What’s left? Big issues or simply stuff you are uncertain about. They may even have been hanging around for a while. Or you are simply unsure about the right action to take. You could be weighing up more than one. And that’s okay. In your mind, place all these in your Time tray.
Keep your focus on what you can do or fix in the here and now. Especially at the start of the month with the new Moon in your 10th of self-direction and authorship. It squares Saturn and opposes old ruler Jupiter in your 4th. This is a simple but powerful trick. Especially when it comes to what you have questions over. Or what seems overwhelming right now. You are NOT procrastinating. You are certainly not refusing to look at something. You are well aware it is there. But instead you are choosing to focus on what you can do. Not what you can’t.
The funny thing about this highly effective process is that as we move through those tasks we can take care of, what’s left in our Time tray either sorts itself out organically. Or else the perfect course of action simply occurs to us along the way. Try this and see.
This is about clearing away confusion and replacing it with clarity. Regaining your purpose. And doing away with that feeling of powerlessness. Suddenly your mindset shifts. You understand you have the tools and resources you need. Your confidence comes rushing back in like the tide. And as the Mercury retrograde begins to clear in your sector of status, public persona and career, you begin to set new goals to crush in the year ahead. And come from the place where you now know you can attain them.
My guess is that by the new year, there’s not much left to Time. And that Time is now on your side. By the time the full Moon lights your 4th – this time conjunct Jupiter and squaring Saturn again (15th), you should be not only looking at hardly anything left in that In tray. But those Time tray items have been much reduced.
You’ll also come to understand what matters – and what doesn’t in the grand scheme of things. In all of this process, you are being empowered by Pluto now in your 12th. Venus joins it on the 7th. With Ceres close behind. And across the 7th – 9th you may decide to let something go simply because it is no longer relevant. Or worth your effort. If it was in your Time tray – now it’s gone.
Money planet Mars is retrograde this December from the 6th. It heads backwards in your practical and pragmatic 6th house. And will return to your 5th of pleasure and love next year. This is telling you not to ignore financial matters. These should not be placed in your Time tray but be in your In box ready to be tackled. If you have been spending your time in the red – literally with unpaid bills, harness this Mars to face this head on. Don’t resort to that famous scene in Confessions of a Shopaholic by chugging tequila in order to get up the courage to look at those statements. Seek out professional advice if needed.
If emotional spending is an issue – and by that I don’t just mean you buying yourself stuff to fill a hole in your life, but you spending more than you should on gifts for others out of misplaced feelings of guilt etc, then please wait until after the full Moon to do your holiday shopping. The square between the Sun and Neptune (18th), sees you able to regulate and stick to your budget. While the opposition between Mars and Ceres (20th) could see you grab a bargain.
This also favours you asking for a bonus or payrise for the coming year as you will be able to broker a deal where both you and the other party benefits.
Friends and also who or what you are looking for, are illuminated as the Sun enters your 11th. Your yearly social and goal entrainment cycle is now Pluto free. As is the new ‘Black’ Moon on the 30th. The first to occur without Pluto in here since 2008. You’ll seek out and attract successful elements now. People who have made it, or can inspire you to do the same. If you are looking for love, then that person could not only be successful at what they do, but there could be an age difference of seven years or more. Remember, that’s just a number. What counts is the values you share.
This is one of the best goal getting new Moons you have experienced in decades. It hands you the emotional belief in yourself that is all important when it comes to manifesting what we want. It can also place people on your path who will play a pivotal role in this for you. Look out for the visionaries, the outliers and the maverick thinkers. People who are from outside your usual circle or who come from very different backgrounds or professions to yours. The more unusual – the better the fit could be. And above all, don’t wait for them to find you. Be a seeker and creator of your future. You have a Time tray. But time itself waits for no-one. Let time take care of the contents. While you set in motion the time of your life.
In a nutshell: Be ready for the arrival of the new – way before 2025 comes knocking. New and different people offer the excitement and fresh potential you’re seeking. Intuition puts you in the right place at the right time.
