What do you do when you don’t know where to start?
If you’re embarking on any kind of manifestation work, the speed at which you can really get going is actually related to how clear you feel in yourself, and sometimes that’s actually the longest part of the journey that we have to make to claim our power as co-creators.
There are those goals or intentions that seem to spring out fully formed at the place where our imagination, desire and heart meet. But at other times we might be far more connected to that heavy feeling of knowing right down to our bones that we want change; but we really can have no clue what we actually want. It’s like we get to a stage of feeling, enough already, or we can actually start to feel very desperate about the whole thing, but when making the shift from that bog to having a clear sense of knowing what we want to move towards seems to elude us.
There is always something that you can do when you just don’t know where to start. I call my own approach to manifestation Quantum Creating in part to remind me and everyone that we can often go looking for huge changes when
actually the tiniest changes we make, those so small they might not even register to the naked eye, can end up having a major effect.
The natural antidote to that sticky feeling of being bogged down is your own passion for life, and no matter how muddy things have got, it’s always in there
So if you look around your life and feel that it’s a total wall to wall disaster zone, or even just a dead area where nothing seems to be taking root and growing, the way out is to do something that gives you juice. Maybe something you put to one side long ago or something you always meant to get round to but it was never the right time.
You might say, oh that’s all very well but how is taking tap classes going to help me sort out my career? How is grabbing my camera and taking pictures going to sort out my love life?
Don’t worry about that for the moment. You are going to be the one who sorts it all out, but only when you get back into your power and passion for even totally unrelated things is the very thing that’s going to get you there.
Forget about solving the huge life questions for a moment and get down to creating moments that you can enjoy.
Pursuit of happiness
Psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi went in search of happiness around the world and found it in places as diverse as factories and on millionaires’ tennis courts. What he found was that chasing happiness itself seemed to keep it frustratingly
one step out of reach, but when people did something that totally absorbed them, happiness crept up without them even knowing.
Remember that in any kind of manifestation work, how we feel actually creates our vibration that in turn attracts what we want. Racking our brains over and over again is only going to generate confusion and even frustration, but doing
something to bring about feeling good is the vibration that helps us transform.
It might seem paradoxical to say that you’re more likely to get clear on what youwant at the point where you forget yourself, but if you can absorb yourself in something that brings you pleasure, you’ll find that’s exactly when inspiration
seems to hit out of the blue.
