You may be new to this site or have either never had a psychic reading before or if you have, they have been in person rather than over the telephone. So, what can you expect and more importantly, how do you choose a psychic?
Whether you are thinking about trying one of our readers or even going for a personal reading with a psychic recommended by a friend there are always a few things to bear in mind to ensure you get the most out of your reading.
Here at MK all our readers have to undergo a rigorous testing procedure. Not only that they have to comply with our code of practice. Our site contains information about each one of our readers as well as a video and usually some client testimonials so you can browse these and see if there is one you are particularly drawn to. If you are still uncertain our reception team will be happy to advise you on the best psychic for you.
In general if you are thinking of visiting a psychic it’s a good idea to go to one recommended by a friend. Ask about how much the reader charges. All our charges are set. If a reader seems to be charging an inordinate amount it might be a good idea to ask yourself why?
Usually psychics want to empower and help people and this means pricing their services within reach of everyone. If you’ve decided to go ahead and have a phone reading and have chosen your reader it’s a good idea to think about what you want from the reading beforehand.
You may have booked a 10 or 20 minute reading and it’s important to get the most out of your time. If you have a specific question you need answered or if there is a situation you’d like the reader to focus on then it’s a good idea to tell them after they have tuned into you and you feel that they have a genuine psychic connection by picking up what is going on around you.
This is not ‘giving away’ anything but getting you the information you need from the reading. Look at it another way – say you’ve been feeling ill and go to see your doctor. You would tell your doctor your symptoms in order for him or her to make a diagnosis to help you, correct?
If your doctor asked ‘How are you feeling?’ and you replied ‘You tell me’ how long do you think it would take for the doctor to find out what was wrong with you? When a reader opens up and tunes into your energy they can pick up on several areas or people.
A piece of information can jump out at them which can be very relevant but not what you’ve actually called up about! So, if you have a question about your love life let your reader know to save them spending half your reading telling you about the exciting changes coming up in your career – which they can tell you about once they’ve dealt with the main reason you’ve called!
Think of all the professionals we consult – hairdressers, doctors, dentists, beauticians, accountants, psychotherapists, personal trainers, mechanics, lawyers – the list goes on and on. Sometimes we connect with the ideal person first up. Sometimes we have to shop around to find the one who really suits our needs or circumstances – who ‘gets’ what we want.
Your best friend may rave about her hairdresser and look great and you end up looking like Bride of Chucky. It’s the same with a psychic. We will try to match you with the perfect reader for you – and don’t forget – if you don’t feel you’re connecting within the first five minutes you can always ask to be connected to another reader without losing any of the time you’ve paid for.
Think of your reader as another resource – just like any other professional you consult – who can help and empower your life by you making the most of your reading.
