Your Monthly Tarotscope – Pick a card for intuitive guidance

Hello Beloved

Finally, we have reached 2023, and a fresh start for us all! This month we have a Full Moon in Cancer, which is about nurturing ourselves, getting cosy with those we love, and focusing on what ‘family’ means.

Full Moons are intense. They bring up all our buried emotions as well as any unresolved insecurity. When we flow with our emotions, we have the space to clear out unwanted baggage freeing us to let in more love.

One of these 8 Tarot cards may be an enchanted prompt for you. Focus on the back of the Tarot cards and use your intuition to feel if one of the cards has a message for you.

Scroll down for the answer.

Much love Michele

January 8 card tarotscope

Tarot Card One – The Moon

The Moon

How perfect! You’ve chosen The Moon. La Luna represents the unknown and the unconscious. It’s a reminder that our deepest fears and desires often reside in the shadows of our minds, and it’s only by facing them head-on that we can truly understand and overcome them.

This card encourages us to tap into our intuition and inner wisdom, as these tools guide us through the darkness and into the light.

At times, the Moon may represent deception or illusion, urging us to be cautious of those seeking to manipulate or mislead us. However, it’s also about the power of transformation, as the phases of the Moon show us that even the darkest moments can give way to new beginnings.

As we navigate the twists and turns of life, the Moon serves as a beacon of hope. When we trust our instincts, there is always a path forward. So, what is your intuition saying now? It’s time to believe in your psychic and intuitive power. Are you avoiding facing a gut feeling? Do you have the answer to the next step in your soul path? Trust it!

Tarot Card Two – Strength

strength

The Strength card’s beautiful paradox shows us that Strength is gentle and compassionate. Strength represents boldness, determination, and the inner power we all possess. It growls that we can overcome any challenge that comes our way and arise victoriously.

This card asks us to tap into our inner Strength and use it to overcome any obstacles or fears that may be holding us back. It’s a roar to action, urging us to be brave and take control of our lives.

The Strength card, at its most mystical highlights, that compassion and kindness are the main components of true power.

It’s a reminder that true Strength comes from within and is not about brute force or aggression but about using our courage and determination to create positive change in the world.

Remember, you can achieve anything you set your mind to as long as you are brave, determined, and compassionate.

Tarot Card Three – The Four Of Swords

Four of Swords

The four of Swords in the Tarot suggests a time of rest and rejuvenation. It’s okay to take a break and recharge our batteries, especially when working hard or going through a challenging time. Remember we are in Mercury retrograde (stalling times), and Mars, the Planet of action, is also retrograde. Don’t push yourself to make decisions until you are ready.

This card encourages us to find ways to relax and restore our energy, whether taking a nap, going for a walk in nature, or finding a quiet place to meditate. It is a reminder that self-care is essential for maintaining balance and well-being.

Do you need to retreat from the world for a while to gain perspective and clarity? Sometimes that is the most proactive thing to do!

Yes, you are a brave warrior soul, but If you’re feeling burnt out or overwhelmed, take a cue from the 4 of Swords and allow yourself some time to rest and recharge. You will come back stronger and more focused, ready to tackle any challenges that come your way.

Tarot Card Four – The 10 of Cups

ten cups

Manifestations escape from the world of dreams and into reality. You are living the dream this month in some way, shape, or form. A new love could manifest for singles. An existing one gets strengthened with a future promise.

You take a trip away from worries – possibly literally, as this card can often indicate a holiday. Even if it’s not a romantic interest, the people you encounter this month want to help or say ‘yes’ to you. You are connecting to all the positive energy you have shared with other souls.

If you’re waiting for an answer on a project or any other matter, choosing this card suggests the best chance of a positive outcome now.

Of course, you have to do your part, but this card says if you put your belief in yourself, the Universe will back you. Sure, just like anyone else, you may still have to deal with your fair share of annoyances this January. But this month shows you dreams can come true.

Tarot Card Five – The 9 of Wands

Nine of Wands

The 9 of Wands shows a time of self-protection and guard. We may feel vulnerable or exposed after a challenging experience, and 9 of Wands asks us to find ways to protect ourselves, and our energy WITHOUT blocking love and intimacy.

It’s time to set healthy boundaries, take time for self-care, and surround yourself with supportive people.

However, sometimes it is easy to get stuck in a feeling of being defensive or overly self-protective. When doing this, we block positive experiences and intimate connections from bringing us joy.

If we’ve encountered trauma and heartache, it is easy to project fear and suspicion onto situations BEFORE it is a reality. Don’t let the echos of the past rob you of the love and closeness you deserve.

Setting healthy boundaries (especially if someone is being disrespectful) but allowing yourself to be vulnerable to those that are respectful, loving, and worthy is the answer.

Tarot Card Six – The Hanged One

The Hanged One

Moon Child, The Hanged One is riding into your January with a profound message. Sometimes we cannot and should not swim against the tide. The Universe is not only placing you, but the whole wide world in limbo (Mercury and Mars retrograde) until after the 18th.

While this may feel challenging, exciting developments will soon reveal themselves. All sorts of surprises manifest as you change all your usual routines (if you haven’t, then do!). What are you learning about your old life? How do you envision your future life? All the seeds of an abundant future are sprouting beneath the surface.

Do what you have to do to be practical and then play, have fun, think outside the box. Turn the waiting into a sacred space as you gather your power.

Neptune is the traditional ru. Deep down, in the vast, fathomless oceans, there’s a hell of a lot going on underneath. Your time is coming. Trust!

Tarot Card Seven – Page of Cups

Page of Cups

The Page of Cups urges you to be tender with yourself and others this January. You have been going through quite the rebirth. Rebirth is often painful, with you probably shedding ideas about yourself, your life, and others along the way.

Joyfully the Page of Cups brings good news and an array of wonder into your life. Your eyes are opening to small miracles, a creative awakening is happening with dabs of magic. Do you remember how you viewed the world when you were a small child? The curious magnificence of a simple shell on the beach? Can you recall seeing a cat for the first time?

Hopefully, with waves of awakening, January will feel a little like that. Each moment of love feels more heartfelt and profound. In need of problem-solving? Your imagination is your friend. Let go of logic for a while and swim in the unknown.

Tarot Card Eight – 8 of Cups

Eight of Cups

You are alive with fearlessness now. You dare to go after your soul calling. Your wild heart is awakening and seeks the gratification you deserve.

Looking at the 8 of Cups we see a red hooded figure walking purposefully towards the mountains while glancing at the missing cup gap. On the left-hand side of the card we see the Moon, and behind, we see eight cups with a gap in the middle.

This powerful card tells you that your next step is to seek what is missing in your life. You are about to leave something or someone behind, not necessarily because you are utterly miserable or even unfulfilled, but because your spirit knows what it needs and desires.

You have arrived at a time when you are courageous enough to quest for your dreams. January provides intuitive guidance on capturing your missing cup. You can do it!

It’s time to be authentic and honest and prepare for the next adventure. You’ve already done the groundwork and likely worked towards healing and believing in yourself. Onwards!
