Looking for love? Whether you are an experienced Tarot reader or just learning, this fabulously insightful reading contains a wealth of information which will provide you with answers about the kind of person you need for your next relationship to what your next partner is looking for as well as where your paths may cross! It’s a simple four card spread that anyone can do so if you’re ready for some serious insight into what your next relationship holds then time to grab your favourite Tarot deck!
As with all Tarot rituals have your Tarot journal handy so you can write down your insights and refer back to them later and turn off your phone and make sure you won’t be disturbed.
First pick a Significator to represent yourself. Shuffle your cards and think about your current love situation and how you would like it to change. When you feel your cards have answered you, stop shuffling, cut them into three piles then put the piles back together any way you please. The deal your four cards in a clockwise circle around your Significator starting at 12 o’clock. Here is what the card positions mean:
Card 1 – 12 o’clock:
What sort of person am I seeking? Pay attention if a Court Card or a Major Arcana card has appeared here. If it is a Minor Arcana take equal time with the card as it will tell you a lot about the kind of person you are looking for – things you may not have realised yourself!
Card 2 – 3 o’clock:
How will they see me? This card tells you what kind of person the other party is seeking and also how they are going to see you in the relationship. Are there similarities between this card and card 1? This is what you have in common to build on. Also this card shows you what it is that is uniquely about YOU that your new partner is going to appreciate. Remember – you don’t have to be clones for the relationship to work! You just need to be yourself.
Card 3 – 6 o’clock:
Where/how will I meet them? The all-important question! Let’s say you pick a card like the 8 of Wands or the Chariot here. These cards are about movement so you could meet them traveling or even on your daily commute! If you picked The Empress she rules the creative side of life so you could run into them doing something creative such as taking an art class or at a concert or art gallery. Please spend some time with this card as it will point you in the right direction!
Card 4 – 9 o’clock:
What does this relationship have to teach me? All relationships represent soul growth whether we connect for a reason, a season or a lifetime. The card in this position does not represent the ultimate outcome of your relationship but shows you what the soul contract is between the two of you – what the two of you have come together to learn.
This simple spread can point you in the right direction to make that love connection and also show you areas where you may be holding yourself back from finding love.
Refer back to this spread when the person has appeared in your life and you’ll probably be amazed how accurate it was!
