Owl – A deeper wisdom
“You must train your intuition – you must trust the small voice inside you which tells you exactly what to say, what to decide” – Ingrid Bergman
You are a deep, wise soul; others appreciate your wisdom but do you turn the light of your intuitive brilliance into yourself and your life? There may be a situation right now that is in the dark, but you know deep down that you’re can bring it into the light. Your psychic ability is on fire. Pay attention and know that you can handle what will be illuminated.
Life is a constant cycle, and a rebirth is on the way. You have a touch of mystery about you, remember no one can fool you unless you want them to!
The first owl image ever found was in a cave in Southern France 30,000 years ago. This ancient symbol has profound power. My mother often appears as an owl when I am in trouble, and I’ve even heard one in the afternoon when she has a message for me.
What is the owl trying to tell you about your life? What do you need to drag out of the shadows? Trust your power and intuition.
Horse – Free Spirit
“In riding a horse, we borrow freedom.” ~Helen Thomson
You’re longing to gallop and be free, and it’s hard to pin you down. Your spirit wants to wander, and Goddess help anyone that is trying to break you. Be careful you’re not rebelling for the sake of it. Horses like to run with other horses, hang with friends who are not scared of living and feasting on life.
It’s important that you can tame yourself and learn to channel that passionate energy of yours. It could be that Horse gallops into your life to show you how to unchain yourself. Believe in your power and your drive and focus it on what you want to achieve.
Horses also have a strong link to sexuality and sexual prowess, how’s your love life right now? Horsey is awakening your sensual mojo and reminding you how it feels to express your desire.
Lion – Pride and Power
“It’s better to be a lion for a day than a sheep all your life.” Elizabeth Kenny
Lion swaggers into your consciousness to remind you that you are a leader. A situation is coming that requires you to stand strong and show your strength. The Strength card in Tarot tells us that real power can be gentle, it is not about brute force. You are stronger than you think, use your power wisely.
The shadow side of Lion energy is pride. Pride, of course, can be good but if you allow pride to lead you astray, you could end up isolating people. To achieve your goal and grab your prize it’s essential, to be honest, and kind. Yes, you may have to confront a situation, but when you have all the facts, there is no need to attack. Stand in your dignified glory.
Peacock – Protection and forgiveness.
“It’s one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself, to forgive. Forgive everybody.” – Maya Angelou
You may have noticed that I have a huge peacock tattoo on my right arm. Peacock to me is a beautiful symbol and a constant reminder to forgive myself and others continually.
The peacock is the bird of Buddha and Buddha often transformed into the Peacock. Peacock signifies rebirth, protection and bravery. Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Compassion, also favours the peacock as does Lakshmi.
Another message of the Peacock is unconditional love and unconditional love of self. How was your childhood? Have you ever experienced unconditional love? Peacock urges you to be the mother you always wanted, to take care of yourself and also to strut your stuff!
Think about that message for a moment. When we show compassion to ourselves and others, life becomes easier, we build a more stable relationship with ourselves and can then extend the hand of love to others. When we have love for ourselves, we can express our ideas and creativity with confidence. An opportunity to express yourself is coming, do it with the aplomb of peacock and knock them out with your wow!
