New Moon in Sagittarius Moonscope December 2023

Growth is the theme of the new Moon in expansive, wish-fulfilling, go bolder Sagittarius. This is the last new Moon of the calendar year. The final opportunity to set those intentions ahead of the new one. Astrologically speaking, this new Moon is a far more powerful and potent point to set those new year resolutions than January 1. That’s because January 1 is merely a calendar date. So, if it will expand your soul, create a learning opportunity for you on some level, and most importantly lead to growth, then now is the time to set your intentions and begin it.

And go big with the goals. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter – the largest planet in our solar system. Go big or go home is a Sag motto. No small goals. No small outcomes.

First – a growth gratitude exercise. Take some time before you choose new stars to aim for, to look at the ones you reached this year. Review all you’ve achieved, learned and accomplished that led to growth on a key level for you. Take all of the above themes, and weave them into a map for 2024, Aries. Then – it’s the kind of leap we associate with the card of The Fool in the Tarot. Step off the edge. Please don’t procrastinate when it comes to starting something. Or take too long mulling over whether you should accept an offer or not. They who hesitate see opportunity move in another direction. Jump!

This is about faith as much as anything else. Faith in yourself. If there’s hesitation, it’s not the universe you don’t trust. It’s you. If you are momentarily frozen with self-doubt, revert to the growth gratitude exercise again. Review all you have accomplished and what this says about how capable you are.
